Kumi Koda scandal update

Following Koda’s controversial comments a few nights ago on Japanese radio show All Night Nippon, a few more things have come into light.

Most importantly, Koda’s upcoming nationwide in April is not going to be canceled.

However, Koda herself has determined her own temporary hiatus from the limelight, which is currently still undecided as to how long it will be, but she plans to be back mid-March for her tour in April. Some television programs have already been recorded, so those appearances will still remain intact.

Promotion for Kingdom is still called off, however the album is still holding the number one daily position on the Oricon charts, so this “scandal” does not seem to be harming the sales that much.
