  1. wow, she's deep as always, but most peps are not gonna get her bold point, they'll olny equate it with record promoting. but vids like an onion, many layers (no pun intended). loves it, go head girl!

  2. I love this SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is just being an artist! Madonna did it! Ozzy Osbourne did it! Hell Lady Gaga is almost damn near naked but they all are artist. Their artistic expression is all about controversy. She did exactly what she wanted to get from this video. A response from the WORLD!! You have to at least commend her for that. “So can I get a window seat…… A chance to fly ………. A chance to cry!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha!

  3. What a horribly cheap-ass video! She (or her handlers) come up with an interesting concept, but then the idiot director shoots it with a cheesy consumer camcorder…..when the “cheesy consumer camcorder” look isnt even what they were trying to achieve? Then they add some sucky edge-softness trying to make it look like a bit more then what it actually was…..handy-cam footage! That director truly needs to be slapped in the face, by a black woman. Several of them, actually. Really big, fat, and ugly ones too.

This is a video that certainly would have benefited from more traditional film-making techniques. Someone got really cheap, and this is what they got. Appalling. Insulting.

  4. I thought this was the best video i’ve ever seen. first of all, let me say, that erykah badu, lauryn hill, and billie holliday are the best female singers ever.in that order.I also feel that traditional film-making would have taken something vital away from this video I truly believe I understand the message she is trying to convey.

  5. I think she was making a bold statement in this video. Doesn’t matter how the damn thing was directed. She knew she’d probably have threats to her life if anybody knew what kind of a video she was shooting. She’s speaking in metaphors always, and people need to wake up. Research what professor griff has to say about this video!

  6. PS— please DO NOT compare her to Madonna, Ozzy Osbourne, or Lady Gaggggga < you know why? Because they all sing about LOWER NATURE shit. They all hype up about sex, money and material…. Erykah comes from THE REAL. The higher Mind, The God Head… she speaks to THIS aspect of humanity. The rest of those artists are SELL OUTS
