O.T. Genasis’ upcoming mixtape, the DJ Drama-produced Rhythm & Bricks, will determine if the internet is still in love Genasis as much as it is in love with the CoCo. Genasis just dropped the tape’s lead single “Do It,” and Lil Wayne threw Genasis a major bone by showing up with an extended verse.

Drop That Kitty” is a promotional music video and single, recorded by American rapper Ty Dolla Sign, featuring English singer Charli XCX and American singer Tinashe, for Sign’s upcoming debut studio album, Free TC (2015).

Ty Dolla $ign performed the song at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards with Charli XCX and Tinashe. The background dancers wore pink oversized cat masks. Shortly after the performance, Charli XCX released the teaser to the official music video.

The accompanying music video for “Drop That Kitty” was filmed in Los Angeles and was released on April 15, 2015. There are cameo appearances by Wiz Khalifa, DJ Mustard and O.T. Genasis.

The track was produced by Stargate and Cashmere Cat. The song was written by Ty Dolla Sign, Tinashe, and Myron Birdsong. It was released as digital download in the United States on February 17, 2015, as the second single from the album.
