The track premiered in mid-early August, with digital download to online distributors in mid August 2011. It was released as the first promotional single from the album, possibly just an album “buzz” single.

Dev infuses her flow with strong beats and memorable lines. This song, “Fireball”, was released as a promotional single, then afterwards “Booty Bounce” had been released as a buzz single, and Dev and The Cataracs had then hit the top of the charts with “Like a G6“.
