Justin Bieber feat. Ludacris – Baby Music Video

Baby is a song by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber. It was released as the lead single from the latter half of Bieber’s debut album, My World 2.0. The track was written by Bieber with Christopher “Tricky” Stewart and Terius “The-Dream” Nash” who worked with Bieber on “One Time” and labelmate, rapper Ludacris.

The song has received positive reviews from critics who complimented the song’s effective lyrics and chorus, and commended Ludacris’ part and the song’s ability to have an urban twist. It has become Bieber’s biggest hit to date, charting at three and five, respectively in the United States and Canada. It has also charted in New Zealand and Australia, and set to impact other countries soon. The accompanying music video takes place in a mall/bowling-alley setting. The video features several cameos such as Drake.

Filming for the music video began during the week of January 25, 2010, in Los Angeles during the week of the 52nd Grammy Awards, at which Bieber presented with Ke$ha. It was filmed at Universal CityWalk by director Ray Kay, who had previously directed videos for Beyoncé Knowles, Lady Gaga, Alexandra Burke, among others. Ludacris said that the video “is like a 2010 version of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”. Bieber said that the video “will capture the song’s message of trying to woo back a girl.”

A video for the remix is in post-production and is awaiting release. The official remix features Nicki Minaj, EveTrina, and Diamond, the remix is the 14th track on the album.

The 2nd remix features Ciara and Pitbull, Ciara sings part of the hook on her remix and adds her own verse (The song was released to iTunes on Feb. 9), It was leaked on February 2, 2010. The 3rd remix features Rock City and Yelawolf, It was leaked on February 4, 2010. On February 6, 2010 another remix with The-Dream featuring Ciara was released.

How Low is the first official single off of Ludacris‘ upcoming album, Battles of the Sexes. It was first heard at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta on October 27th, 2009 when it was performed by Ludacris as the 2nd half of a medley that began with Lil Scrappy’s “Addicted to Money”, a song on which he is featured. The track is produced by Canadian producer T-Minus. The song was released on iTunes on December 8, 2009, and rose rapidly up the iTunes Top 100 chart, peaking at #3. The song debuted at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video was shot December 23rd, 2009 in Los Angeles and is directed by Dave Meyers. The video was leaked on to the internet January 20th. The song features (uncredited) Shawnna.
