Intro
Voice-over
(Ayo, Show!)
(Tuned up)

Chorus
501Bryze
See, man, when mama told me this and, boy, my mama told me that
And if you ever get some money, just be sure to make it last
Boy, my mama told me, “slow up,” I been livin′ too fast
I was sittin’ with some black ski masks (man)
Boy, believe me, mama tried, I was just too wild
I was chiefin′ on the reef at 15, blowin’ light
I’m still turned up, and I won′t ever turn down
Mama said I need to turn my life around

Verse 1: 501Bryze
Ay, I met a bad lil′ bitty, mama told me I need to quit it
But I couldn’t ever leave her, I was too deep in it
Mama mad she would leave it, I was high, couldn′t feel it
I was fryin’ like some chicken, I was sittin′ in a skillet
Jumped off the post, chasin’ dollars, chasin′ digits
But the way that I was livin’, if I had it, I was spinnin’
I was tryin′ to make a dime, I was sick of pitchin′ pennies
I was tired of f*****’ workin′ for a livin’
I was sick of bein′ broke, I was sick of bein’ a joke
So I started s*****′ w***, it was too free to force on
I was tryna to make some money, trap it now my mama home
Until the feds found out the little dealers I was on
Long story short, I was back to bein’ poor
Flippin’ burgers in the back at the f*****′ corner store
I was tired of this s***, so I started writin′ hits
Man, I knew my life just needed somethin’ more
Ay, mama really tried, plenty of nights mama cried
Plenty of times I was in trouble, had to walk a tight line
Mama taught me how to win, she didn′t teach me how to fight
But s***, I swear my mama taught me right

Chorus: 501Bryze, JamWayne
See, man, my mama told me this, and, boy, my mama told me that
And if you ever get some money, just be sure to make it last
Boy, mama taught me to slow up, I be livin’ too fast
I was hittin′ licks and black ski masks
Boy, believe me mama tried, I was just too wide
I was chiefin’ on the reef at 15, blowin′ loud
I’m still turned up, now I’m never turned down
Mama said I need to turn my life around

(yeah)

Verse 2: JamWayne
Ay, mama what it do, I′m about to come through
Got blood on my shirt and mud on my boot
Been ripping and roaring, flipping brick and mortar
Stacking money the ceilings, keep placing the order
Mama be the lookout at the cookout
Whipping up young, young, like a dope house
Know that we be breaking bad
Taking mad chances to make ends meet
Not a piece but the whole damn cake
Know I got you, mama
All the drama that we been through it be getting calmer
I know you wondering ′bout me but don’t worry, mama
I know you praying for me, you got that big buck chief boy Gary Palmer
He a man of honor, don′t talk with mama
Unless you want his young guns here pullin’ on ya
Merle hackers jumping out jambo wailing on you
B*** your a** b***** b***, mama tried to warn ya
Nothing you could do now fam pulling up ready for it
Muddy blend on a bloody truck, pop a teeth out
Go and dump the body over the fish
We get down on the farm, them house hungry s***

Chorus: 501Bryze
You know mama told me this, and, boy, mama told me that
And if you ever get some money, just be sure to make it last
Boy, mama told me slow up, I believe it too fast
I was sitting looking black, ski mask
Boy, believe me mama tried, I was just too wild
I was chiefing on the reef at 15, blowing loud
I′m still turned up, and I will never turn down
Mama said I need to turn my life around (ayy)
