The single was made available for online streaming on November 20th 2015, but was pulled later the same day. It was released globally as a digital single on November 27th 2015, accompanied by its socially and politically charged music video which went viral and sparked controversy.

Time magazine has named it one of the best videos of 2015.

Milf Money (M.I.L.F. $)” is the first music video and lead single from her upcoming long-awaited second studio album, Double Dutchess – the single release and video marking the first solo-studio album excursion Fergie has distributed in over ten years!!

M.I.L.F. $” (pronounced “Milf money“) is a song by American recording artist Fergie. “Milf Money” (stylized as “M.I.L.F. $“) was produced by hit-maker Polow da Don for her upcoming second studio album Double Dutchess, and released as the album’s lead single on July 1, 2016 on Interscope and the will.i.am Music Group.

Milf Money Video

The music video for “Milf Money” was conceptualized by Fergie and filmed with director Colin Tilley in Los Angeles.

In the Milf Money video, the milkman’s truck says “Milfman – Moms I’d Like To Follow”. Fergie said: “Changing the acronym [“MILF: Moms I’d Like to Fuck”] to Moms I’d Like To Follow is about empowering women who do it all. They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy. With a wink of course.”

The Milf Money video ends with several mothers each shooting their own “Got Milf?” ads.

The music video was released on July 1st 2016 via Fergie’s official YouTube VEVO channel.

Milfville

The Milf Money Video features the hottest M.I.L.F.’s known to man on Earth in the little town known as Milfville.

I guess Hollywood is now simply referred to as, “Milfville”

Set in a candy-colored town called “Milfville“, it features Fergie with a group of famous mothers, including Kim Kardashian West, Chrissy Teigen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ciara, Gemma Ward, Tara Lynn, Devon Aoki, Angela Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana, Amber Valletta, and Natasha Poly as lingerie-clad 1950s housewives.

Music Production and Composition

Fergie was inspired to write the song after the birth of her son, Axl. “Milf Money” was written by Fergie, Polow da Don, Jocelyn Donald and Jonathan Solone Myvett.

Literally, Polow da Don’s style of production with AnonXmous seems the perfect fit for this lovely M.I.L.F. (Moms I’d Like to Follow…. naturally)

It’s a trap track produced by Polow da Don and AnonXmous. It has a length of two minutes and forty-two seconds. The music video has a length of three minutes and fourty seconds.

Production value of “Milf Money” is basically an over-sensationallized modern-mainstream radio friendly “Trap track”. On this brand new expedition, “M.I.L.F. $” marks the first promotional Trap track this Milf has released with “Milf Money” a new adventure for her and all her fans worldwide – she’d like if you hopped aboard, and applaud all Milf’s along the way (Mom’s I’d Like to Follow).

More like “M.I.L.F. $” or more of her old-style R&B/pop style like “Fergalicious” “Glamorous” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” We’re basically just really excited to hear more!

It’s got us wondering what the rest of the style of Double Dutchess will be like. To “Trap” or not to Trap?

More, R&B/Pop and Hip-hop undertones for sure we are in store for but from Fergie – a surprise of many types in under wraps from which only this M.I.L.F. Fergie can bring to the masses.
