“Drink” is the lead first promotional single and music video from Lil Jon‘s upcoming second solo studio album, Party Animal.
The track features Redfoo and SkyBlu of American electro hop duo LMFAO, and premiered in mid August 2011.
What’s hilarious is that ‘Drink’ is virtually the same song as ‘Shots,’ the 2009 track by LMFAO featuring Lil Jon. The roles are reversed, with Jon taking lead artist credit, but the chorus is exactly the same.
Instead of yelling, “Shots! Shots! Shots!,” the guys are now yelling, “Drink! Drink! Drink!,” over a saxophone riff.If anything, Lil Jon has taken the profanity to a new level. “We came in the club to get real f—ed up and motherf—in’ party!
