“Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” is the lead music video and single from Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer and actress Nelly Furtado‘s upcoming fifth studio album, The Spirit Indestructible.
The song premiered on Nelly Furtado’s official YouTube VEVO channel as a Lyric video in late April 2012. The music video premiered on her VEVO channel in early May 2012.
The song, produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, is the lead single from her first English-language album in six years, The Spirit Indestructible.
Furtado proclaims that The Spirit Indestructible would be most like her 2000 debut Whoa, Nelly!, but containing elements from urban, alternative, and reggae. The album has attracted producers such as The Neptunes, Tiësto, Timbaland, Rick Nowels, Ryan Tedder and Rodney ‘Darkchild‘ Jerkins.
