“Touch My Body” was written by Mariah Carey & Terius (The-Dream) Nash. It was produced by Tricky Stewart. Tricky and The-Dream also wrote and produced the Grammy Award-winning Rihanna song “Umbrella“. The melody for Touch My Body is the same backing music used in the advert for Mariah’s perfume M by Mariah Carey.

So what do you think of Mariah’s new single? First I must say: I LOVE anything The-Dream produces, so I was already excited to hear his work when I first heard that he was in production with her. A nice relaxed track, with a chorus you’ll be repeating for months. No doubt a grower however, with some sensual lyrics; I love the chorus. Can’t wait to hear what else she has up her sleeves for new newly retitled album: E=MC². (Emancipation = Mariah Carey²)
