Pink Confirms Eminem Collaboration ‘Revenge’

The internet has been abuzz this week about a new song featuring P!nk and Eminem, but are the rumors true? Well, P!nk recently confirmed that yes – indeed, they are about to blow on Pink’s new album ‘Beautiful Trauma’ (due October 13th).

Speaking with Dan Wooton on ITV’s Lorraine today, the 38-year-old revealed that the song ‘Revenge’ features Slim Shady himself.

Describing the track as “fun, funny” and loved by her mom, the star opened up about her Family life, working with Eminem and on her upcoming album ‘Beautiful Trauma’.

With multiple releases from her upcoming album, she is in full effect pushing the sales and single rotations all over the internet and radio. Fans are very happy, and P!nk/Eminem enthusiasts cannot wait to hear the duet!

Just Like Fire” is a music video and single recorded by American singer Pink for the soundtrack to the 2016 film, Alice Through the Looking Glass.

The official music video for “Just Like Fire” was directed by Dave Meyers and was released May 9, 2016, ahead of the US premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass. The video features Pink’s husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow.

P!nk co-wrote the song with Max Martin, Shellback, and Oscar Holter, who all serve as producers on the track. The song was released to digital retailers through RCA Records on April 15, 2016 and was serviced to American adult pop radio through RCA and Walt Disney Records on April 18, 2016.

Upon its release, “Just Like Fire” debuted in the top 50 on multiple international singles charts, and has peaked in the top 10 in the United States. In Australia it reached number one in its second week and was also certified Gold by ARIA.

The song was co-written and produced by Greg Kurstin. In August 2015, P!nk recorded the theme song for thirteenth season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It was released to digital retailers as an official single on September 10, 2015 through RCA Records.

Today’s the Day” is a pop rock song written by Pink and Greg Kurstin with inspirational lyrics about seizing the day and not wanting to let it end. The song has been praised for combining Pink’s signature sound with the show’s “feel-good vibe”, but has also been noted as overly-familiar thematic territory for the singer.

The video for “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” features a black and white picture and was directed by longtime collaborator Dave Meyers who directed almost half of her career’s 33 videos. It premiered on July 27, 2012 on MTV and VEVO.

MTV’s James Montgomery assured P!nk’s fans that she hasn’t changed, while crediting the video for its angry and funny nature, saying “While your heroine might be saying she’s a changed woman, the ‘Blow Me’ video proves that she’s not. It’s just as angry as her previous clips, and nearly as funny too.”

Produced by Greg Kurstin (Marina and The Diamonds, Kelly Clarkson), the song was named as “classic P!nk,” and was very well received by music critics who compared it to previous hits by P!nk including “So What” and “Raise Your Glass.” A viral lyric video also premiered in early-mid July 2012.

With “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” P!nk ranks third among women with most Top 10’s since 2000, behind Rihanna and Beyoncé, with twelve Top 10 hits in the USA, after scoring a massive jump on the Hot 100 during the song’s second week, leaping from #58 to #9 after promotion on the iTunes store.

“Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” is an uptempo pop rock and dance-pop song with dance music influences with a duration of four minutes and 16 seconds, produced by Greg Kurstin. The song begins with some electronic arrangements before evolving into pop rock, basically on instrumentation sampled from the American Indie rock band Modest Mouse’s “Float On.” Jessica Sager commented that “from the harmonies to the rock-style drums to ‘Raise Your Glass’-esque shout-along chorus to the liquor references”, the song is musically “signature Pink”. The song was named as “classic Pink”, with a “swear-jar-worthy chorus” and an “an abrupt key change that only a singer like her could pull off.”
