Skylar Grey – Dance Without You

“Dance Without You” is a promotional/buzz single by Skylar Grey, released to promote her still untitled debut album, set to be released in the fall of 2011.

The track was produced by Alex Da Kid, and the song premiered in early June 2011.

The video, uploaded on Skylar’s official site, opens with her singing the chorus to “Coming Home”, “I Need A Doctor” and “Love The Way You Lie” before launching into the eerie, drum-smacking “Dance Without You”.

This one seems promising, thanks in part to producer Alex Da Kid, whom, you may recall, produced every aforementioned track Skylar has worked on.

It’s still up in the air whether Skylar — born Holly Hafferman — will reach be able to successfully transition from hook-making songwriter to a charttopping household name in her own right like Bruno Mars, but we won’t be surprised if that comes to pass.
