“Everybody’s On Drugs” Lyrics ^[4]
Song by Lauren Jauregui:

Verse 1
Here comes another day as we all slowly go insane
Lie after lie after lie but somehow it’s us they blame
And I know that it’s easier to pretend it doesn’t matter
And look away, ignore the pain

Pre-Chorus
But it’s really f****** scary way that everybody’s staring
Into nothing, feeling numb, yeah, like it’s all just temporary
I would like to talk about it but it seems like everyone is fine
Am I crazy or does it feel like

Chorus
Everybody’s on drugs? (Drugs)
Everybody’s on drugs (Drugs)

Verse 2
I’m feeling sad today so I’ll just pop a pill and say
That I’ve solved all my problems and go right on with my day
No, I don’t (No, I don’t) wanna feel this way but I sure do still got bills to pay
And no one cares anyway
And the walls are caving in as we ignore another tragedy
Oh, I could use a chest to rest all my bones

Pre-Chorus
‘Cause it’s really f****** scary way that everybody’s staring
Into nothing (Out into nothing), feeling numb (Feeling something), yeah, like it’s all just temporary
I would like to talk about it but it seems like everyone is fine
Am I crazy or does it feel like

Chorus
Everybody’s on drugs? (Drugs)
Everybody’s on drugs (Drugs)

Bridge
I push away the silence
Fill up the space in every way
Addicted to distractions
Oh, anything to numb the pain
I push away the silence
Fill up the space in every way
Addicted to distraction
Oh, anything to numb the pain

Pre-Chorus
And it’s really f****** scary way that everybody’s staring (Staring)
Into nothing, feeling numb, yeah, like it’s all just temporary (Something)
I would like to talk about it but it seems like everyone is fine
Am I crazy or does it feel like

Chorus
Everybody’s on drugs? (Drugs)
Everybody’s on drugs (Drugs)
