“Hard Liquor” Lyrics ^[4]
Song by Chase Matthew, Waka Flocka Flame:

Verse 1: Chase Matthew
She lit a fire in my eyes
Filled me full of smoke
I’m burning out of control
That little devil in disguise
Put a hurtin’ on my heart
And raked me over the coals
I can feel it
But the buzz hurts
Drinking or leaving
I don’t know what’s worse
She’s probably thinking
I moved on
And she don’t believe it
Ain’t that easy

Chorus
I’ma need some hard liquor
I don’t think a beer
Will get her off my mind
Go ahead and hit me bartender
Pour me up a double
‘Cause I’m having trouble
Saying goodbye
I’ma need another round
Ain’t no way around it
If I can’t put her memory down
Might as well drown it
I’ma need some hard liquor
I’ma need some hard liquor

Verse 2: Waka Flocka Flame
Another shot
Maybe two
Sitting here with you
Girl, you expensive
Don 1942
I walked a thousand miles
Now I think it might be two
I overstayed here
When I knew that we was through
But you
You got a hold on me
I can’t let go (Oh oh)
You left with everything
You took my soul (Oh Oh)
Now I’m dreaming
And I’m drinking
With your ghost (with your ghost)
If I’ma let you go

Chorus: Chase Matthew & Waka Flocka Flame
I’ma need some hard liquor
I don’t think a beer
Will get her off my mind
Go ahead and hit me bartender
Pour me up a double
‘Cause I’m having trouble
Saying goodbye
I’ma need another round
Ain’t no way around it
If I can’t put her memory down
Might as well drown it
I’ma need some hard liquor
(I’ma need some hard liquor)
I’ma need some hard liquor

Verse 3: Chase Matthew & Waka Flocka Flame
Leave my tab open
All the way to last call
Gimme whiskey
For the heartbreak
And the withdrawals
If healing takes time
Then tonight I’m in trouble
Mister, go and pour
Another double

I’ma need some hard liquor
I don’t think a beer
Will get her off my mind
Go ahead and hit me bartender
Pour me up a double
‘Cause I’m having trouble
Saying goodbye
I’ma need another round
Ain’t no way around it
If I can’t put her memory down
Might as well drown it
I’ma need some hard liquor
(I’ma need some hard liquor)
I’ma need some hard liquor
