Song by Joyner Lucas:

Chorus: Reece Bullimore
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind
I try to run, I try to hide
But they still come back every night
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind

Verse 1: Joyner Lucas
And I don’t even wanna sleep in my bed now (Yeah)
Most days in my head now
Kinda feel I been lost and I’m checked out
Keep it real, I been livin’ on the edge now
I admit it, I been trapped in my own hell
On my back, but I won’t bail
And I hated where I’m at, but I won’t dwell (Yeah)
I just hope I don’t go back to my old self
Wish you knew what I seen, but I won’t tell

Pre-Chorus: Joyner Lucas
And she go first, I been tryna find me on a soul search (What?)
Lost things that I love, but it don’t hurt (What?)
Tried that therapy s***, but it don’t work (No)
Hopin’ I can find me with my own worth
But I know I gotta let my soul decide
Think about peace when I close my eyes
Only I can save me from my own demise

Chorus: Reece Bullimore & Joyner Lucas
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind
I try to run, I try to hide
But they still come back every night
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind (Yeah)

Verse 2: Joyner Lucas
I know you wonder how I’m rich, but I’m still lost
Lot of wounds and I’m still scarred (Yeah)
Money never means s*** when you so broke
God seems so close, but He so far (Uh)
Only thing is my kids that I live for
Kinda wonder what the f*** I got rich for (Yeah)
Have you ever seen an angel with a pitchfork? (Uh)
Ever wonder why you ever got picked for? (Uh)
Only shot five times, but I missed four

Pre-Chorus: Joyner Lucas
So you go first, I been tryna find me on a soul search (Yeah)
Lost things that I love, but it don’t hurt (No)
All the therapy s*** really don’t work
See, I need self-love and my own words
But I know I gotta let my soul decide (Uh)
Think about peace when I close my eyes
Only I can save me from my own demise

Chorus: Reece Bullimore & Joyner Lucas
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind (Yeah)
I try to run, I try to hide
But they still come back every night (Uh)
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters (Uh, uh)
Ooh-ooh, I don’t wanna see the monsters (Yeah)
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind (Yeah, yeah, uh)

Verse 3: Joyner Lucas
And I know that nobody’s perfect
I look at myself, don’t know who this person is
My alter ego’s a whole different version of me
When the real me is closin’ the curtains (Yeah)
I’m tryna make changes, I hope that it’s worth it
I’m haunted by trauma, I’m holdin’ discernment
The monster inside of my soul is emergin’
This song is my therapy, hope that it’s worth it (Yeah)
If you can relate, I hope you can escape
Anything that’s eternal that you couldn’t face (Uh)
It go stare in the mirror, look you in the face
I be prayin’ for you if you losin’ your faith (Yeah)
Hope you heal from the s*** that got you in your way
If you feel like you trapped and you losin’ your way (Yeah)
Then just know that somebody like you who can say
We our worst enemy and we two of the same

Chorus: Reece Bullimore
I see these monsters all the time
They show me bad things in my mind
I try to run, I try to hide
But they still come back every night
