“Imagine” is a song written and performed by English musician John Lennon. It is the opening track on his album Imagine, released in 1971. It has been covered by British singer, songwriter and music producer Taio Cruz.

According to Billboard, Taio Cruz will be the first artist to ever give a live performance of John Lennon’s “Imagine”. Where will you see this special performance this holiday season?

Taio takes on the song from Times Square just before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The performance will be made an iTunes exclusive on Jan. 1, 2011, and sales of the song will benefit Big Brothers Big Big Sisters.
