Here’s the brand new Sheryl Crow single “Love Is Free”. It’s a nice song! The song “Shine Over Babylon” was supposed to be the first single of Sheryl’s new album “Detours”, due this february, but it’s not.
Love Is Free is the second track released from rock singer Sheryl Crow‘s forthcoming album Detours, and the first to be released as an official single. Its predecessor Shine Over Babylon was airplay only.

On her website http://www.sherylcrow.com, Crow states that it was inspired by the floods in New Orleans. “What struck me about it is the stoicism of the New Orleans people, they are very spiritually based. You can see it in their eyes that they aren’t going to give up, they are going to rebuild.”

Actually “Love Is Free” has reached #10 in Japan J-Wave Tokio Hot 100.
