“Playin It Cool” Lyrics ^[4]
Song by Tyler Hubbard:

Verse 1
It ain’t the bourbon I been sippin’
Ain’t the packed-out in this room
Ain’t the neon lights that did it
D***, it must be a hundred-and-two

Refrain
Whoa, whoa
I saw you, and I saw sparks fly
Whoa, whoa

Chorus
Girl, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
When you walk in lookin’ like that
Tell me, baby, what’s an ol’ boy supposed to do?
Tan legs and your hair pulled back
You might as well go and knock me off my stool
I ain’t never been higher
You’re unleaded and a lighter in this room
I’m playin’ with fire
Hell, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
Yeah, havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
D***

Verse 2
Girl, this usually ain’t my style
I stay calm, cool, and collected
‘Til that “Outta-my-league” smile
And I took all that and wrecked it

Refrain
Whoa, whoa
I’m just tryna play my cards right
Whoa, whoa

Chorus
Girl, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
When you walk in lookin’ like that
Tell me, baby, what’s an ol’ boy supposed to do?
Tan legs and your hair pulled back
You might as well go and knock me off my stool
I ain’t never been higher
You’re unleaded and a lighter in this room
I’m playin’ with fire
Hell, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool

Refrain
Whoa, whoa
I saw you, and I saw sparks fly
Whoa, whoa

Chorus
Girl, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
When you walk in lookin’ like that
Tell me, baby, what’s an ol’ boy supposed to do?
Tan legs and your hair pulled back
You might as well go and knock me off my stool
I ain’t never been higher
You’re unleaded and a lighter in this room
I’m playin’ with fire
Hell, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
Yeah, havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
D***
Hell, I’m havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
Havin’ a hard time playin’ it cool
