A music video for the song was uploaded to Ryan Lewis’ official YouTube channel the day of the song’s release. It was directed by Macklemore, Lewis, and Jason Koenig, and was filmed in Spokane, Washington. As of April 2016, the video has over 108 million views.
“Downtown” was used in the newest trailer of The Secret Life of Pets.
