“Marry The Night” is a music video and single by American recording artist and songwriter Lady Gaga taken as the fifth single from her second studio album, Born This Way.

The music video premiered on Lady Gaga’s official YouTube VEVO channel in early December 2011.

The song was written and produced by Lady Gaga and Fernando Garibay, and was recorded on the tour bus during The Monster Ball Tour with Garibay.

During an interview with NDTV on October 31, Gaga revealed that she directed the video. She also worked with the director of photography Darius Khondji and art director Gideon Ponte.

“Marry the Night” was initially going to be the lead single from Born This Way, but was cancelled in favor of the title track.
