“Hotline Bling” is the lead music video and promotional first single from Canadian rapper and recording artist Drake‘s upcoming fourth studio album, Views from the 6.

The music video premiered October 19th 2015, via Drake’s Apple Music deal.

It is a “remix” of D.R.A.M.’s hit “Cha Cha”. “Hotline Bing” premiered alongside “Charged Up” and “Right Hand” and other material from other OVO artists on the second episode of OVO Sound on Beats 1 Radio.

The track was produced by Nineteen85, the song released on August 3rd via social media outlets for promotional use.

• “The opening scene features some ladies—clad in pink shirts—working the hotline at a call center. Then it switches over to Drizzy, who shows just how suave he can be with his moves. He does the cha cha and salsa against a white box and on a staircase, while decked out in turtlenecks and Timberlands. He is joined by his sexy co-stars, who flaunt their curvy assets while dancing in yoga pants.
• The song is currently No. 2 on the Hot 100, but Drake is hungry for the No. 1 spot. “I have never had a billboard number one,” he wrote on Instagram. “If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool.” [via Rap-Up]
