Rihanna shot the music video to “Wait Your Turn” on October 16, 2009 in Washington, New York and Berlin. The director of the video was Anthony Mandler who previously shot most of Rihanna’s music videos.
The video premiered on November 3, 2009 on RihannaNow.com. It is shot completely in black and white. In the video, Rihanna is seen with an eyepatch, similar to the one worn in the video for “Run This Town”. She is seen in what looks like a park-like area, on a bridge with metal gates and in front of a Las Vegas background with lit up buildings.
